It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website where you can find useful information about our School.
Stenhouse Primary School was built in 1930 on a large plot of land on Saughton Mains Street in the west side of Edinburgh. The building was designed to provide bright, well-ventilated classrooms with extensive glazing, allowing natural light and a feeling of space. The school continues to benefit from extensive school grounds and green spaces alongside many original architectural features.
Our current school roll is around 280 pupils. We have a 40 place term time nursery, twelve classes from P1 – P7 with a composite at P1/2 and P4/5. We also have two enhanced support bases classes: welcoming children from across the city with language and communication needs. We are part of the Tynecastle Learning Community, and we collaborate closely with our colleagues across the community to support all of our children.
Our school team and community are dedicated to supporting all our children through our school vision, values and aims:

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and find the information useful.
