About Us

Stenhouse Primary School is a non-denominational school built in 1930 which houses a nursery, classes for children with language and communication diificulties, and 13 mainstream classrooms.

The school building at Stenhouse Primary School is arranged around a central courtyard, which contains a large garden  and nature area.  As well as our classrooms, we also have a music room, outdoor class room, library, ICT suite, and two PE halls, one of which also serves as our dining area.

There are two playground areas, both of which feature quiet areas containing plants and seating areas, and a large grass section with a climbing course which can also be used for PE and after school clubs.

Our nursery forms part of the main school building but has its own entrance and self contained outdoor play area.

Language class provision is for children with communication difficulties from across the city.
